Well, here we go again. Murtha vs the country. Too bad we can’t put the Pentagon in Johnstown, Pa. That would make him very happy. I agree, Secretary Gates is doing a splendid job. Maybe Murtha thinks we are all stupid and that listing all the “Big Ticket” items are really going to go there. Hey Jack! How much is going to your district?

This is partisan politics. Secretary Gates is doing a splendid job and is willing to make the tough decisions and provide unbiased direction. We (Defense) have to adapt to a changing evironment and put aside (short term) our personal interests for the best of the Country.
