Many battles have been fought on multiple fronts with different force elements involved. Before we wax existential, let us not forget that it is how we treat our veterans that determines who will fight the newest strategy with the best consequences. Ike Skelton (D-Mo.) has a very impressive resume/biography.It will be interesting to see how his strategies are different then Secretary Gates.Probably some sort of compromise between the two will be a good benchmark for the Country.
