Why, we are probably the most strategic state in the union. All the Pacific boomers are here at Bangor, all three Seawolf class SSN and maybe 25% of all other SSN and 2 SSGN’s, any nuclear ship refuels at PSNS and 2 Aircraft carrier battle groups operate out of the Everett Homeport, let us not forget Fairchild AFB in Eastern WA, or Whidbey Island Naval Air Station… Then there is Hanford where Plutonium was first made and isolated… With all the assets we have here do you really think that our Senators and Reps. want to screw with it! Think again…

aand what did you do during your time as a Marine…make daisy chains and eat gumdrops???
As far as I aam concerned you are an “X” Marine, and you earned that title. Any Marine who completes Boot is a Marine… until he or she does something so dastartly “THEY” place themselves on the “X” Marine category list. Congratulations, you suceeded in your endeavors to become aan outcasts amoung the Brotherhood.
You, sir, are a little man spouting words against men and women who have more than proved themselves as Patriots. I truly don’t know your combat record. Enlighten me as to what you did that qualified YOU to address some of Americas finest as “cold blooded killers and murderers”. I fought my way through three years of combat, horror, terror, and heartbreak. I saw my Brothers die for what you cowardly scum sent us to do. “WE FOLLOWED ORDERS” and did our best and gave our all.
Just go away…as far as you can, and remember what YOUR duty was and is. You are a disgrace to us and you and your actions rip my heart for my Brother and Sister Marines who gave their all, and are giving their all.
Shame shall be your reward… forever.

Horrible news. Norm Dicks is the worst! He does NOT put the troops and needs of the services first and lives in Boeings back pocket. This man is not fit to be a part of the appropriations committee.
