Don’t count on anything happening to the Pirates in the Indian Ocean! The right thing to do is attack their strong holds in Somalia. But that will NEVER happen! Instead we will be forced to pay billions ransoms for hijacked ships, dead merchant sailors and passengers, and most of all higher prices for everything transported by cargo shipping.

The next President should deploy more ships and aircraft carriers to these regions of the world and declare war on the pirates and sea terrorists. Let’s face it, that will never happen because the ACLU will demand that the pirates will be treated as non-pirates and should be given diplomatic seat in the anti-American United Nations security counsel!

During the next four years pirates, criminals, terrorists, and the left-wing ACLU and ACORN organizations will be given national acceptance under the Obama administration. Get use to it!

I am still trying to understand how pirates get away after receiving ransom since they are out on a ship far out to sea. If they have boats that are too fast for destroyers and the like, why aren’t similar speed vessels, helicopters, electronic surveillence and tracing equipment with appropriate armaments; with heavier backup vessals deployed to block their escape and capture them. They keep getting away! What’s up with that? We know where they are each and every time.

There are American citizens who have seamanship papers to go to sea and earn a living in this manner and are not being protected from this world wide plague. I cannot think of one nation in the world that does not have laws against pirating. This is a world wide crises that is spreading and getting closer to our homeland every year. The longer the nations of the world take to address this issue only means that this terror will continue to spread until its starts effecting everyone here in the US more than it is now. Lets get started on eleminating this problem NOW!
