i agree with the bomb the hell outta the area on our way oput , bring in supplies thru any country that will allow us.. some that would trust us if Obama doesnt screw up the promised missle batteries as bush had signed into place.
so far i see a man who declared he would change things and all i can see is him doing exactly as bush was doing. makes one wonder how many obamanites can we find now.

I’m convinced we have morons running the military. Do they get their jobs based on PC, or by kissing ass? Why would they move materiel through Pakistan, which is unsecured and unreliable? There are alternatives. There are
other countries that can channel supplies to
Afghanistan without most of it being ripped off
and winding up in the hands of our enemies. Fly
in most of the stuff. We do have an airfield in
Afghanistan. And we have relations with Turkmenistan. They have ports to receive military cargo by boat. Both options are certainly better than Pakistan. Fire the
morons in charge and bring in civilian logistics experts.

It’s hard to guard and protect this equipment when 1, there getting their kickback and 2, It’s hard to shootback/defend when your’e running the other direction.

well the pak army has this almost mythical fear to the taliban theyd rather fight indians.i remeber seeing all the stories of darpa working on big airships that could move these supplies without having to cross any other roads and could land on the major fobs in country for distribution from the inside outwards.something that would be next to impossible to stop.

450 destroyed vehicles and containers worth an average of possibly $100,000 each is $45 million (remember the good stuff goes by air). Seems like a drop in the bucket to what we are giving Pakistan and spending on both wars each month. Half a percent of the monthly dollar total? Suspect some Soldiers will be happy they ends up with a $1 million M-ATV instead of an uparmored HMMWV.

In addition, StrategyPage says we have been delivering 20% more containers daily than the 78 required. Problem yes. Game changer no.

Why not make the Pakistani Army responsible for the security of all our supplies and convoys? We are giving them billions of dollars every year. It is time for them to “man up” and do their duty. If our supplies are “lost” or destroyed, the replacement cost (including transportation) should come out of what we have been giving them.

What in the world is wrong with this set-up; Literly(sp) I don’t NATO, the do nothing POS of the world just give the crap to the taliban. This really smells. Spary the damn area with pigs blood and intrails. I find NATO, and am underwhelmed if the spelling is wrong as stated above POS’S. I find this mess to be another way for NATO to pay us back for going in to this with out their consent. I’d like to cr*p down their neck and put the head on backwards and stuffed somewhere dark and moist.
