Japan for the F-22,Israel needs the F-22 as a deterrent . But that will never happen under Obama.

Damn, no wonder most of our allies have no airlift capacity. Yes! Let them buy the planes. Its a no brainer…and yes I would sell the F-22 to the Japanese-WITH all the goodies. F– the Chi-coms and the NK’s. We NEED capable alllies.

The problem with listening to the OBNA Rhetoric, regardless of subject, is that the language is tailored to the listener. If the subject is DOD Tech Exports and the talker senses a vote out there, then the rhetoric is adjusted.
Listen close, BUT watch the actual directed, dedicated and closely monitored moves made by the various DOD agencies. The OBNA now has control down to the cubicle level, and that is where the decisions are made. Rhetoric, sensed positive or negative vibes are pure OBNA Aesopian language. Beware the talk, watch the actions.

And just how are they planning on reforming the ITAR? I seriously doubt they’ve read the ITAR (22cfr120-130). I enforce it for a living and it is nice to have the teeth that it has.
I’m not holding my breath that they will do a better job then has been done in the past.

The GEIA vision conference in October 08 had an Obama spokesman make some bold statements regarding US export laws, in particular how the Obama administration would like to significantly reform ITAR, calling it a relic of the cold war.
