bae guy, you are a frickin idiot. I’d have to say at the very least 99% of what you have posted about the M-ATV contract is complete and utter bull crap! So I will keep this short and to the point for you. Oshkosh is way ahead of orders for the contract and will be completed by March. So you were obviously wrong when you stated they were going to lose the contract or not have the ability to produce that many trucks. As for the protest goes…Oshkosh did not have the FMTV contract taken from them, the contract is not reopen for bidding, and it is still looking good for Oshkosh to retain it on the 14th of February. Next time you post something maybe you should either wait to see how the company does in it’s production of said contracts before posting things that in the long run make you out to look stupid or do a little research first.(i.e. BAE protest) Get your facts straight before posting such nonsense.

Well interesting note in the local paper today.B.A.E. just won their government protest against the Omygosh i can’t believe they won,I mean Oshkosh company, regarding their FMTV contract that was fradulently rewarded to them this past OCT.proving my theory in previous threads that they did not make a superior vehicle, they were felt sorry for and obama was paying off the unions.Sorry, B.A.E. is hiring in Cincy!!!! HAHA

I was just looking for some information on this new truck. Interesting comments on here. I don’t really care who won the contract as long as are troops are safe. That is what everyone one on here should be worried about, and not be making childish comments about their competitor. I understand it sucks to lose a contract when you poured your heart and soul into a project. That is life. Life isn’t always fair, but you just have to lift your chin up, put on a grin and go after the next challenge. Just try harder on the next one, eventually things will come your way. For the winner… congrats! For me… I will have to go somewhere else to find out about this truck. Too much B.S. on here to get any real facts.

why does it matter who makes our armor kits? Obviously our armor was the best. That was the main purpose of the vehicle, to protect troops. So if we have to use an armor company other than a US company, then so be it but the troops in that truck will be better off than in any of the other trucks. Obviously the government would have chosen the safest vehicle. Your arguments make absolutely no sense. GOOD BYE!

I JUST GOT WORD TODAY, OUR QUOTE FOR PARTS ON THE M-ATV PROJECT WERE LOWER BUT OSH WILL REMAIN BUYING PRODUCT FROM OUTSIDE THE U.S. WHAT GIVES? AMERICAN METAL, JOBS, LOWER COST…I HOPE HOWEVER GOT THE CONTRACT CAN FIGHT THE WARS TOO! MY SON IS A MARINE TOO. GUESS I BETTER LEARN TO SELL FOR CHINA OR KOREA!!
