why does it matter who makes our armor kits? Obviously our armor was the best. That was the main purpose of the vehicle, to protect troops. So if we have to use an armor company other than a US company, then so be it but the troops in that truck will be better off than in any of the other trucks. Obviously the government would have chosen the safest vehicle. Your arguments make absolutely no sense. GOOD BYE!

I JUST GOT WORD TODAY, OUR QUOTE FOR PARTS ON THE M-ATV PROJECT WERE LOWER BUT OSH WILL REMAIN BUYING PRODUCT FROM OUTSIDE THE U.S. WHAT GIVES? My point was not that BAE would create any more jobs than Oshkosh– it was the rediculous argument that intheknow was making that since BAE is ultimately owned by Brits (mind you they are one of our greatest allies), they were undeserving of the contract. Frankly, if the Oshkosh vehicle was the best solution to keep our soliders safe, so be it and good luck to that company. I just found it absurd to attack BAE on nationality grounds.
