That means get the intel out to the combatant commanders faster. This means that the sources are not as well protected and will go away faster. The Intel Community will want to keep sources protected and only release consolidated reports. A huge tectonic shift has occured over the last many years, as the intel has been converted to more "operational" and the combatant commanders have gotten more direct (and much faster) feeds.
