All the satellite imagery at NGA-Earth.org needs to be unclassified, therefore most of it comes from commercially owned and operated satellites, not NRO. This WE will defend. As long as we are keeping yard, then let's also remember the US Citizens who suffer and go hungry. As long as the Empire (ye ole eufrrprc-5thgenmil) has US policing their roads, we can certainly expect to be stretched thin. I almost prefer talking to the computer prompters on the phone these days than all these barely emglish speaking and nonunderstandable overseas reps we get routed to. Another thing of wander is how many different intelegence and analysis groups we have in this country willing to tell the military how to do their jobs. No wander we are in a hurt locker. The boots on the ground know what needs to be done - leave them alone. Any current or long term relief effort should be handled solely by the U.S. given the incompetence of international bodies. The IMF in particular has further crippled the Haitian economy and made them less self sufficient...but I digress.
