How do we *know* this concept is fact and not just a perception? Just in case it is true, then why? The MOSSAD are not stupid. I do not see them as issue. As I see it, GEN Petraeus, may be looking for a little wiggle room. The problem is this, looking for wiggle room, is worse than looking for "hens' teeth." Of all the militaries and governments I have cross trained with, Isreal is the one I wouldnt want ticked at me, They excel at covert ops and fear no one as evident by the many times they have scooped us on technology we didnt plan on sharing with them. Also take into consideration the millions of American Jews in the US first loyalty lies with the homeland, many of which have served in the isreale defense force and some in MOSAD which is permitted without them having to give up citizenship here, many continue to pay tribute from thier income to Isreal as well. I'm not saying that they would attack us outright, but I wouldnt put it past them to covertly trick or force us into a battle with someone else to further strain our economy out of retaliation.
