Tips to Increase Your Instagram Followers!

How to Get Increase Your Instagram Followers!

It’s not just about the number of followers you have, but also who they are! This is why it’s so important to take advantage of all that Instagram has to offer. The more engagement you can get on your posts, the better your chance to increase your follower count.

This blog post discusses few tips for getting more followers on Instagram and encourages you to try them out! Also, check out famoid for getting followers!

Tip #1: Increase Your Instagram Followers

Use hashtags! Using relevant, popular hashtags will help you appear in more searches. Using the right hashtag at the right time can be crucial to getting engagement on your posts.

You must use many different ones, but don’t overdo it either, or else people may begin to unfollow you because they feel like they’re looking at an advertisement rather than pictures from their friends and family. Try using between 15-20 different ones per post for optimal results!

Tip #2:

Invite your friends! If you invite the people who are already following you to like, comment, and share your posts, it will garner more attention. It’s also a great way to meet new Instagram users (your future followers).

To do this all at once is called “blast,” but be careful because many of these people may not follow back if they feel your requests come across as spammy or desperate. There is nothing wrong with asking nicely, though!

You can do this on any social media site by going into settings and setting up an option for direct messaging from other accounts that aren’t visible in their inboxes unless sent directly from someone outside of their network. This avoids getting blocked while still allowing them to access the message.

Tip #3:

Comment on other people’s posts! This is a great way to make friends and gain new followers. Also, commenting can often bring attention to your pictures because the algorithm will suggest that their users check out what you have shared.

Try looking up popular hashtags in related content for more engagement this way too! You could end up getting some really interesting comments from random strangers who may be interested in following you after seeing how much they like your perspective or opinions of something that was posted. It seems counter-intuitive, but it works!

Tip #4:

Run giveaways! This is a great way to get followers, especially if you are running it with other accounts that already have an established follower base. You can make the entry requirements very easy or quite difficult, depending on what your goals are.

For example, asking people to tell you their favourite band to win tickets might not be worth the time for someone who doesn’t know much about them because they will probably lose interest before even completing the task.

On the flip side, this would also work well for someone who has worked extensively researching different bands and knows every single one by heart — consider how many likes/comments each post gets so these efforts aren’t wasted.

It’s important to make sure that you are staying on top of the comments left by users because this could lead to new followers who want to know more about what they’re trying to win.

Tip #5:

Post at peak times! You can see when other people post their content, so why not use this information for yourself? Try posting between 12-16 hours after someone else has shared something similar, and your posts will show up in related timelines even if there aren’t many hashtags being used.

This works best with influencers or celebrities, but let’s face it — most of us have seen popular accounts that don’t necessarily have a large following just based on the fact that every time they share something, it seems like it ends up on our feeds. This means that there is a lot of buzz around their content, and it’s likely because they post at peak times!

Try to be strategic about this as well, though — you don’t want your posts being seen by too many people who aren’t interested in what you have to say; otherwise, the algorithm will start suggesting users unfollow your account.

Tip #6:

Make sure all images are high quality! This isn’t just for Instagram either — pictures should look good across all social media platforms, so try not to rely on one or two different sizes/types unless necessary.

There are plenty of free photo editing apps out there where you can crop photos, add filters you’d like, and make them more visually appealing.

You can also get your hands on free stock photos that don’t require attribution if you are looking for more professional options to make sure nothing seems out of place or like it was designed in the 1980s (I’m not saying this isn’t good, but try to keep up with current trends).

Tip #7:

Put your website link into your profile! This way, people can visit directly without having to go through some extra hoops so that they know where they’re supposed to be heading next whenever they decide to follow you online.

It’s important because while social media platforms allow us to connect and share our thoughts/opinions, we should never forget who helped put us on these platforms in the first place.

If you’re not already asking people to follow your blog, website, and everything else that’s linked directly from it, then now’s the time! It will make things a lot easier in the long run if this is done correctly.

Tip #8:

Don’t be afraid to use tools like Followerwonk or SocialBro! They both offer analytics on who exactly is viewing (and possibly following) your account so you can get an idea of what type of accounts have been seeing all of these posts as well.

This helps because there might be something about your content that makes certain types of users more likely to engage with it than others — consider why that may be before making any drastic changes just for and giggles.

These tools are great for getting an idea of who exactly is following you, but don’t let them make all the decisions — use your knowledge to determine what you think is best for your account.
