  1. Saw masks on cell phone for $4.95 or you could buy more. Tried calling can’t get an answer. Looked on web site and they are not the same.

    • The review is obviously written by Stratton. (Give away): Poor grammar and under the return policy it states: Refund will be given after “WE” check the item.
      Caveat emptor!

    • These masks are manufactured in CHINA. $1.00 a piece. Appear to be of good quality. Haven’t opened the package. May return the merchandise as I did not know the merchandise was foreign made.

    • Almost certainly not. The website says the mask is “shipped” from the US. Its FDA approval documents, issued to a Chinese-named company, may be legitimate. But there were exact-looking replicas of FDA-approved masks being shipped here from China in 2018, and there have been many more large Chinese shipments of dodgy PPEs to Canada and other countries since last February. I’d rather pay a higher price and get a mask that I KNEW was real.

    • No these masks are made in China. They are not N95 they are K95, but I honestly don’t even think they are even legit K95 masks.

  2. I would assume that Stratton Medical Supply is fraudulent. I fell for a similar website call “buythemask.com”, which looked pretty legit after scanning through every page on their site; and now I am trying to get PayPal to reimburse me. The ‘giveaway‘ was signing into my PayPal account & finding the owner’s name written in Chinese. They claimed to be US based & established in 1998, with warehouses in CA & NY, but I can find nothing on the company in any business listings online.

There are mostly fake mask and PPE websites out there recently, & they’re popping up almost daily. If you haven’t found Stratton on the Better Business Bureau’s website, that’s a clue. Most N-95 masks are just not available unless through known websites; and I’m finding even ‘trusted’ sites have sellers that are price gouging due to the pandemic. Those that aren’t price gouging are sold out all around the country, or reserving their stock for the healthcare industry.

    • Don’t go to Brave new Look either! I did finally receive product, 6 weeks later; but you can’t get a hold of anyone. They just send out a general form email and then want you to rate their service…. HA I think all these mask sites are price gouging scams, who prey on all of us.

    • FYI- KN95 by designation (the “N”) are made in China. They are NOT the same as N95 but some studies show they can be effective.

    • Mark, I ordered 10 days ago, Stratton charged my credit card and have yet to get a response or status of order after 4 attempts. Either really shitty service or a scam.

    • The masks are KN95. K stands for knock-off. They are not claiming to be 3M N95 masks. Still don’t know if the company is legit though.

      • Seems to be a problem with supplier I keep getting notice my order is ready to ship but nothing. I would advise to find another supplier until they get more responsive to emails

      • KN 95 is the Chinese version of the N 95 mask. If these are KN 95 then they will be fine, the only difference is they are made to the Chinese standard.

        Reply
      • KN95 masks are Chinese equivalent to N95. The only thing difference is N95 straps go over your head while KN95 has ear loops

      • I have ordered ~$300 worth of surgical masks and KN-95 on May 16th and got the order delivered last Saturday (May 30th). I was scared when I read all these comments that this is a scam, after making my order. But, it looks like it’s legit. The address on the package is the same as on their website: 910 Striker Ave, Suit B, Sacramento, CA 95854. I received the confirmation e-mail about my order the same day and I was able to track my package through the SHOP app.

  4. I have not tried this supplier but I agree with the comment above. I feel as if this has scam written all over it. I did not try the email address. However if you google the address you will see that the property owner has been trying to lease the property for a number of years. Not sure if its the total building or some of the building. I recently got scammed from another provider through Amazon and I was at least fortunate to get my money back from Amazon. I hope they are legit but too risky for me. Be safe.

  5. I have received 5 masks 2 days ago, waiting time about 1 week. I wore the mask today during shopping. It was just fine, fitted on me well. I checked the mask yesterday, poured water in it and it was holding the water without seeping through. When you wear the mask and breath in and out you feel some resistance, and I did not feel the air escaped from anywhere, which for me was also a sign that the mask was protective. I wish the mask would be somewhat cheaper. After airing, steaming and checking the mask afterwards that the mask stayed intact, I will re-use the mask.

    • They will still you blind. I ordered 5 Kn95. And charged me $34.70 which is correct then turned around and charged me $129.94. I got the advertisement from Facebook. So be aware and I’m trying to locate Stratten Medical Supplies.

I did not receive a confirmation receipt (just a “Thank you for your order”at the end of the transaction) or notification of shipping, so nervous about this being a scam, and very happy to receive my order today.

  8. They are not a scam. I ordered the KN95 Mask and they are wonderful. It didn’t even take a week for me to get them. I will order again. And they did respond to my email when I emailed them. Wonderful service!

  12. I am asking for a refund before they ship the KN-95 masks to me. They offered “Free shipping” but then after I paid for the order and they sent me the confirmation email, it said shipping price will be calculated. That right there is unethical. I had also asked two other questions of which they cannot bother to answer. Also, KN-95 masks out of China may or may not be as high quality for protection against small virus micron particles compared to the N-95 made in the U.S. At this point, I will not recommend this so-called company.

    • Yes indeed you will receive masks but my question is are they actually N95 or KN95 quality. The answer would be no. Sorry guys these will not protect you like a N95 mask will, but any mask is better than nothing. Of course a cloth mask probably works as well.

  15. I ordered five masks and received four. I sent an email that they have not responded to. Masks are minimal quality also.

  16. It seems to be a mixed bag of replies, and I am in a wait and see mode. I ordered May 20, receiving a thank you and a note the product would ship in 7 days. Today is May 27 and no shipping info has been received. In a few days if I hear nothing I will contest the charge (they charge immediately, not deferring until shipped) and I will have the charge suspended. It seems very odd that some claim they receive their order within days. Are those bogus posts?

  17. It’s not fake. I received my order 400 KN95 and 100 regular masks by mail within 1 week. I started to doubt because you could not follow USPS tracking number indicating package not received yet from Stratton. Obviously it is a problem with USPS tracking because I did receive it.
    Order was correct.
    Thanks

  18. I ordered May 19. Card charged same day. Promised 5-7 days shipment. Cannot reach by phone, email is bogus. No shipping advice, no shipment, no masks, just multiple charges to my card. SCAM!

  19. I purchased 100 of the disposable face masks and 50 of the KN95 masks. I wanted to give these to colleagues at work for added protection — and thought the KN95s would do the trick. I received the order of both products. They are clearly made and packaged in China. While I’m very pleased with their construction and comfort, I have no idea if these KN95s are compliant with FDA NIOSH standards. I doubt that they are, as I think this would be indicated on the mask. My suggestion to my colleagues is to wear a face cloth OVER the KN95 for added protection.

  20. Seems a genuine company. I am from Sacramento. However, they are just a middleman. Imports the masks like N95 for few cents a piece, sells them for 400 times profit. Like any business would do. If you need more masks and not in a rush, order them online from aliexpress.com or another site for less than half the price. These N95 masks were 50 cent a piece at dollar store (2 for $1) back in December 2019!

  21. They advertise KN95 Masks for sale, BUT THERE IS A BIG CATCH! First, to start your order you have to submit your name, address, phone number, and email. Once you do that you are told you have to buy disposable masks ranging from $50. to $600. (depending on the amount you pick) before you can buy any KN95 masks, which come 10 per box with a limit of one box per family for $49.95. It makes me wonder if they even have KN95 masks.

  24. I made a visit to Stratton on Su 5/31/2020 at about 3:30pm because I happened to be in the area after reading the above comments. The operation is located in a light industrial bldg with 5 units. Yes, located in unit C is Northside Church; in unit E is FRSTEAM a fabric restoration company. On units A & B, WKND is on the doors
There was a man doing some work at the tailgate of a truck & when I asked him about the whereabouts of Stratton, he pointed to the A door and said he was the owner and it was inside. We walked thru the office area where there was some e-gear seemingly setup for office work. In the open bay in the back where there were several opened, large boxes of masks and related items. He pointed to a stack packages and said those were ready for shipment to those who had placed orders.
He indicated he had started up the company 4 months ago and a media company would be coming out next week to do a show and tell for broadcast. I did not see a business license nor did I ask to see one. He indicated his wife was in he medical field working at local hospitals for + 10 years, and he has business in China where the products are made.
Do I believe he is in legit business, most probably so. As a retired business consultant, did I do a thorough business due diligence review….not even close. If you are in doubt way for the upcoming “Show & Tell” to be aired.

  26. very many instances, where you see an exceptional positive review from a satisfied consumer, you are looking at a fake review initiated by

  28. We ordered masks from Stratton a few weeks back, found them superior to those provided to my husband at one of the Sutter clinics where he works (they must use a JIT – just in time – supply chain which has been unable to fully equip them during this pandemic as only flimsy surgical masks have been provided for staff and physicians in the clinical setting, no matter how closely the physician must be in order to meet the standard of care for his/her specialty.) However, after writing a lengthy article venting my frustration and citing clinical data on levels of mask protection (using hyperlinks to the CDC, etc ) in one of our well read local web blogs, things are starting to change; whether griping did it…. or over three months of kvetching letters to the head Honcho, I have no idea.

That said, we have no complaints about the quality or fit of the KN95’s we purchased from Stratton, a company which has an office based in Sacramento, CA (we live in CA and found that reassuring.) As for the “Chinese writing” included, you will likely find that in most masks from a variety of sources as the bulk of our PPE in this country is made in China.

I just now ordered 30 more, then was offered an additional 10 for an even lesser cost per mask charge and added that to our order as I, too, use them and often provide my patients with co-morbidities a KN95 if I learn they’re using inadequate face covering….and I stress to ALL users, that your nose is one of the more important things to cover besides your mouth… so these masks do the best job of staying put than any we’ve tried.

Hopefully Sutter, where my husband practices as a physician, will get its act together as they are to start “measuring faces” today or early next week for N95 masks, starting with the Medical Assistants. In the meantime, I want to insure that both my husband and his colleagues in need of full coverage mask protection have an adequate supply given the snail’s pace of this clinic’s powers-that-be.

One of the additional reasons I ordered from Stratton is that the KN95’s do NOT have a respirator, as, for some reason, those are verboten at Sutter Clinics. I tried to wear an N95 w/respirator to go to an appointment there this week (as we are low on the KN95’s) and I was turned away at the door as the only other option was to remove my own mask and wear a tissue thin not even surgical grade mask that they provide to all patients upon entry. That’s pure junk… fits poorly on most faces, allows air to enter at the sides, is of virtually no use in their crowded elevators, so I returned to my car and grabbed one of my used KN9t’s on which I had drawn a smiling cat’s face complete with nose and whiskers, and, voila! They let me in because it had no ventilator….. but I still took the stairs as six foot distancing is impossible in a 6X5 foot wide elevator full of passengers!

Our first order took a bit longer than anticipated given we’re only about 70 miles from Sacramento, but it was due to limited stock on hand, but I received a notice that they currently have new stock, so stopped looking elsewhere as we’ve come to trust them as being legit. Hence: I promptly placed today’s order and would recommend them. They also have “chat” availability should you have any questions beyond what is covered online or in this review.

Ii would ignore Ms/Mr Phuk China’s response…..as I don’t think that’s a real name, but a political expletive that is completely out of place during a pandemic where everyone is already in a good deal of stress. (Grow up, Dude!)

I find it strange how anyone can order a face mask thats made in China when China started all this evil stuff. Order only made in USA face masks ppl stay away from China made masks. Stay healthy & keep your immune system strong & dont fear & follow mandated rules & have faith in God & youll do just fine.

Very helpful, friendly, and professional. They answer the phone an resolve any issues you may have, I will do business them again.

PS. Most businesses today because of covid, do not answer the phone ,and issues are hard to get resolved. I won’t order from a business that,s too busy for me, and won’t talk to me.

    Thank you Stratton
