  1. This review of this company is true. They do defraud subcontractors, usually of the last construction draw. My husband and I were defrauded on three houses for interior and exterior paint work. They sent us a fraudulent list of mistakes, claiming that windowsills hadn’t been painted and that baseboards needed to be cut in. Claimed there was overspray on cabinets and that baseboards weren’t cut in, ect. A giant list of excuses as to why they weren’t going to pay us.
Then a friend of mine used Winterfell for their hurricane Michael repairs. They were charged over 60k for some siding, a roof and some touch ups on some interior walls where water had come in. Despite many many requests for itemized invoices none were ever provided. The owner of Winterfell negotiated with the insurance company and took every dime that the homeowner received and made sure to drive up every price to the maximum. But in the end no itemized invoices of work performed were ever provided despite many, many requests and phone calls. When there’s a problem and customer complaint Tommy won’t answer the phone. I know other GCs who would have done that job for way less money.

  2. No ethical individual would hire a company who steals wages from immigrants and then threatens them with ICE when they want to be paid.
